LEARNING THROUGH ART

I've always known that I was a visual learner; I waltzed through education by doodling out my notes.
Here is a small sample from a collection that I've been working on in the last few years. I've been learning more about my heritage, starting with the artists. In the future, I plan to share this work so that others will have access to these stories.

I owe my artistry to Naoko Takeuchi, creator of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, whose artwork inspired a wide-eyed and curious 4-year old me to spend many hours retracing my favourite sailor star. I piled our house high with my clumsy scribbles - much to my mother's dismay.
