I am a child of the diasporas, born to two former refugees. I spent the entirety of my life trying to understand who I was, but I didn't realize until recently that all I needed to do was to look for parents and to listen to their stories.

An attempt to make sense of my father’s peace. For years I had resented the fact the fact that his time of worship conflicted with my piano schedule. However, as I planned for a film without conventional sounds I slowly saw how his prayers were as important to him as music was for me.
